Learning lesson, to be faithful and "bloom where you are planted" as Christy Nockles had  mentioned before. It is easy to allow your mind to drift ahead and wish for something different in the future, but I am called to live to Christ and die to self. Not easy. To praise the Lord in all situations, not easy. Thankfully and praise the Lord, I have Him who is greater than my heart. My job, it is where I have been called to, it is my mission field. Here I hope to learn to be faithful, for this is where I am planted!

No matter how hard we try, how many times we pray, go to church, do good deeds, read the Bible...we can never measure up, never gain salvation. But there is a great hope and relief that is "by grace that you have been saved, though faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast." Eph 2:8. It isn't an act of baptism, a prayer we say, but a gift from God. Jesus Christ is the author and perfecter of our faith Heb 12:2. He gives me the faith to believe. "It's the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming words to God -"Jesus is my Master"-embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; your simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it right out loud: "God has set everything right between him and me." Romans 10:8-10. Beautiful and available to you, call to Him now.
"Scripture assures us,'No one who trusts God like this-heart and soul- will ever regret it' Romans 10: 11

Back from Haiti...medical, construction, and able to visit an orphanage. God used 5 young RN's, Kelsey (our world traveler with medical experience), 2 nursing students, and other team members to provide care to the Haitian people. A lot of Tylenol, worm medicine, and vitamins were given. Using dosage (learned in nursing school) actually came in to use this trip! One special moment of this trip, planned before time, involved my little sister and her little friend in our cove. They had a lemonade sale one day. Katie had given me the money that evening because it was for the kids in Haiti, a precious gift of around 4$ was given. Well, my idea was to give it to the Thirst No More ministry. They have a wonderful ministry and reach out to people groups that have been affected by disasters like earthquakes. But God had a very special purpose for that money. Mark, a team leader working with Thirst No More ministry, told me about an orphanage in Haiti with poor sleeping conditions for the children. The money given to him would be for these kids in Haiti. God had touched the hearts of two little girls in Tennessee to give to children in a impoverished nation. What a Mighty God we serve. He is the God of beautiful details.
